These lightweight hand forged small sterling silver dangle earrings with July birthstone ruby beads will add colour and sparkle to your winter wardrobe. The circular ring-shaped dangles were crafted from 925 sterling silver sheet. Inside each ring-shaped dangle I positioned a 1/4" (7mm) dark pink genuine ruby faceted round bead, threaded on one of my own handmade sterling silver balled headpins. The ruby gemstone beads slide freely on the pin and the earrings have been polished to a bright shine.
Each silver ring dangle is about 1/2" (14mm) in diameter and about 3/16" (5mm) thick. The circular drops hang from my own hand made sterling silver balled ear hooks. From the top of the ear hooks to the bottom of the silver drops, the earrings are about 1.25" (33mm) long. They are very lightweight, weighing only about 1.5g each. To put that in perspective, a US dime weighs 2.3g (a Canadian dime is even lighter at 1.75g), so each earring is lighter than a dime.
