Fluttery, whimsical feather drops are hand crafted from a solid sheet of copper or bronze. The feather design is hammered in and layered with multiple colors of patina to give these lovely earrings depth and a lush combination of colors.
The patina is brushed out to expose the luster of the metal in lovely feathering technique. Additional layers are added in a complimentary color. Patina is done by hand in many layers and may vary slightly from pair to pair making them a unique work of art. Although they don't match exactly, I strive to make each pair a set that compliment each other.
Patina is twice dipped in a food safe protective clear coat to preserve the patina and help prevent tarnishing.
