Burmese Ruby 4mm Palladium Silver Designer Studs
There has been a really long ban that prohibits the purchase of gemstones from Burma. There are still some "old stock" Burmese Rubies floating around, that are legal to sell. This pair of Old Stock Burmese Rubies measures approximately 3.75mm - and they are quite PINK. The clarity is very nice - all rubies have inclusions - these have very small ones that do not detract from the gemstones at all. They are really not at all noticed. The gems look clear overall, not cloudy, and nothing dark seen inside of them. The retail value of each of these gemstones is over $200. Please look at all of the photos - in bright light, these will look PINK and not Red - i.e. the 5th photo. In darker lighting, they will look more Red (like the other photos). Sometimes they are shockingly pink. :)
These gems have been heated, but have no other treatment.
I have set these gems into Palladium Silver. They are not yet permanently set, as you can see from the photos, so you may elect an alternate metal at checkout. If you select 18K or Platinum, the processing time will increase by approximately 7-10 days (so it may take 2-3 weeks before you receive your earrings).
