Vintage Ruby Red Signed Weiss Double Strawberry Brooch and Earrings
This is a fabulous fruit Weiss set featuring the double strawberry brooch and matching earrings with ruby red chatons and emerald green chatons for the leaves, in a japanned setting.
The double strawberry brooch measures 1 inch by 1 inch (including stems). The strawberry clip-on earrings are ¾ inch by 1 inch. I did have to replace a couple of the rhinestones on the brooch.
This set is a “book piece” featured in several books, including Collectible Costume Jewelry by Cherri Simonds on Page 83 and Rhinestone Jewelry Figurals, Animals and Whimsicals by Marcia “Sparkles” Brown on Page 274.
