This is a very top quality ruby star sapphire it is 10x12mm. This ring is size 7 1/2 and is about 1 1/2 inches long. It is made from sterling silver sheet and wire. Pieces were cut and formed and then soldered into place to achieve the design. The round balls are pieces of silver that were melted until they rolled into balls.
