In creating this unique adjustable necklace, bracelet and earring set I selected ruby-red candy jade beads including 8 mm beads and a trapezoid pendant as a center drop, 8 mm laser cut sterling silver beads, sterling ear wires and sterling toggle clasps. This simple but beautiful necklace can be adjusted from 16" to 18 1/2" and the center drop is about 30 x 40 mm. The bracelet is just over 7 1/2" in length and the earrings are 3/4" plus the ear wires.
Candy jade is an interesting stone made of what the Chinese refer to as "Bai Yu," or White Jade by its common name. This type of natural stone is hard and white or semi-translucent white in color.
